About us

AMIDEAST has operated continuously in Egypt for nearly six decades, beginning work in Egypt in 1956. With offices in Cairo (Dokki and Heliopolis) and Alexandria, and Off-site Service Providers (OSPs) in 14 governorates, AMIDEAST impacts over 125,000 individuals each year throughout Egypt, empowering them to take charge of their future through educational opportunities. Services provided include: English training for youth, students, adults and professionals; teacher training; professional training for all levels from workforce development through senior management; employment and entrepreneurial skills training for youth and women; institutional development and organizational capacity building; testing and certification for professional or AMIDEAST has operated continuously in Egypt for nearly six decades, beginning work in Egypt in 1956.
