Mohamed Ali School for Boys was in a bad shape from the structural point of view, yet with a potential for more students because of its available size. The school served at the time of upgrade (329) students and (29) teachers and staff.
Accordingly, Takatof embarked, not only on upgrading the school that needed complete renovation, but also focused on better utilizing the total space and reopening the unused rooms (used for inventory etc.). As a result, the number of classrooms doubled from 9 to 18 and allowed to have classrooms for all the school’s activities. In addition, it enabled the Education Department to integrate El Talia Preparatory School for Boys with its (288) students (thus doubling the number of students) and its (31) teachers and staff.
As a result of Takatof’s work throughout the past 6 months the Association was able to reshuffle and reorganize the spaces available creating new rooms for the following activities:
-A Multipurpose Room (theater)
-Music Room
-Art Room
-Talent Room
-News and Journalism Room
